Owner & Managing Director
Rebecca takes pride in calling BELS her own. She makes it a point to be present in each centre on a weekly basis, to meet clients and learn more about how BELS can meet their needs better. In her free time she enjoys diving, reading, travelling and most of all spending time with her family.
Manager – Agent Sales Department
Isabella, our Director of Sales, is in charge of maintaining agent relationships & introducing new clients to our schools. She also oversees our booking procedures and staff. Isabella is passionate about travelling, whether it is for business or pleasure. She is her son’s biggest football fan and loves shopping too!
Manager – Online Sales Department & Junior Programme
Between liaising with our partners, managing BELS’ online presence and coordinating the BELS Juniors Leisure Programme, Julian takes pride in managing to integrate our clients’ needs & wants into our JUNIOR programmes whilst ensuring their safety and parents’ satisfaction.
Director of Studies – Malta
Having travelled extensively, Julia is particularly interested in learning about different cultures, traditions and languages which benefits her role as BELS Malta director of studies for English speaking courses. In her free time Julia loves going for long walks along the seafront, swimming, camping and bird-watching.
Academic Manager – Gozo
Sharyn moved to Gozo from the UK in 2007 & started to work at BELS in 2009. In her free time, Sharyn enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
BELS Academic Assistant
Arianna is half English, half Maltese but has spent her entire life in Malta. She is at her happiest when she spends her time under the sun by the sea. With a keen interest in different cultures and cuisines, she loves meeting new people within her job and even whilst travelling, as well as dancing being her main hobby.
School Manager – Malta
Daniel has more than 10 years of experience in the EFL industry and loves travelling and learning about new cultures. He is also passionate about cars, sports and staying active. He is always willing to learn and hopes to be of great service to all our students.
School Manager – Gozo
Leanda has lived on Gozo for 10 years, having moved from the UK with her family. She thinks of herself as a local – she can speak Maltese fluently too. She loves meeting new people & learning about different cultures; whilst during her free time she enjoys keeping fit & playing badminton. Fascinated by adventure, camping is also one of Leanda’s many hobbies.
BELS Gozo Assistant Manager & Leisure Co-ordinator
Ryan, has recently moved back to his home island, Gozo after having lived and worked on Malta for 15 years. In other words, he decided to come home. Ryan has extensive experience in administrative and leisure roles and loves utilising his expertise in his role at BELS GOZO. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, and hanging out at the ‘pjazza’ with a beer.
Steven is married and has 2 grown up children. He loves walking, socializing & watching football. Environmental issues are close to his heart. In fact he is a member of a local NGO that helps with keeping our beautiful islands clean. He also loves travelling & enjoys life to the full!
Sales Executive & Junior Programme Administrator
Tereza joined BELS English language schools in Malta after having travelled the world and lived in different countries for more than 10 years. Apart from travelling she loves different types of sports, such as crossfit, Zumba, running, cycling, windsurfing and snowboarding. However, her biggest passions are languages and working with people of different nationalities.
Sales Executive & EFL Teacher
Andrea joined our BELS Malta language school as a teacher and after some time also became part of our sales team. Working at an English school combines her love for the language, culture and travel. She’s fascinated by stories, animals (with a soft-spot for dogs) and discovering new things, places and cultures. However, her biggest passions are languages (speaks five languages) and working with people of different nationalities.
Front of House Co-ordinator
Paulina has lived in several countries around the world before settling in Malta. She likes to learn new languages and meet people from different cultures. Being a mother of 3 children she may not have much free time, but loves to travel, go diving and read books when possible.
BELS Malta & BELS Juniors Registrar
Tiffany has been living in Malta for 10 years and is originally from Belgium. Having a diploma in professional English, Tiffany is passionate about reptiles and survival. She is also a foodie, loves cooking, video gaming and horror movies.
Friendly & Professional
BELS hand picks its trainers and ensures that they are in possession of internationally recognised qualifications in TEFL, as well as being highly experienced speakers of the English language. Teachers are encouraged to design lessons that target learners’ needs, using supplementary material whenever appropriate. The schools’ teaching facilities include audio/ visual equipment, interactive white-boards and a library.
