A Supervised Residence in a Safe Location
The BELS Juniors Residence is a 3* hotel located in Qawra, St. Paul’s Bay. It’s within walking distance to our centre and only 100 meters from the sea-front and promenade, with its fine selection of shops, restaurants and rocky beaches. Students staying in our residence are taken care of by our live-in leaders who provide 24/7 supervision.

Fully supervised
Our BELS leaders stay in the same residence, providing company, support and supervision all day and night.
Multi-bedded Rooms
Each room has a private bathroom. Roommates are always of the same gender. When possible, of a similar age, and different nationality.
Private Bathroom
Students will have a private bathroom in their room, shared only with their roommates. Towels and bedsheets are provided and replaced regularly.
3* Hotel
Our junior residence is housed in a private section of a 3* hotel. Includes an outdoor pool as well as a heated indoor pool.
Location
Our residence is in the north of Malta, in close proximity to the school. Set in a safe area, with a balance of entertainment places and nature attractions.
The hotel consists of 170 rooms, built around a swimming pool. All rooms are approximately 22 meters squared and are serviced by elevators. Each room has a private balcony, a direct-dial telephone system (operated using phone cards that may be purchased from the hotel reception), cooler (that remains turned on, even when room is not in use), centralised hotel air-conditioning system & a ceiling fan, a TV, a hair dryer & a bath with handheld shower. A safety deposit box is also available at a charge and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
The Hotel’s facilities include:
- Air-conditioned public areas, with free Wi-Fi;
- Reception (manned round the clock; 24 hrs);
- Student restaurant – serving breakfast, lunch (seasonally) & dinner – all buffet;
- Outdoor & Indoor swimming pools with Jacuzzi (outdoor pool only);
- Sun deck with showers & toilets;
- Games room.
Set in a safe area, our BELS Juniors residence/hotel is located a few minutes away from a rocky beach and within walking distance of the main square of Buġibba. Accommodation is provided in double or triple rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and include an en-suite bathroom with shower, a television with basic reception service, a safety deposit box (at a nominal fee)m Wi-fi and a telephone for incoming calls only. A daily cleaning service with a change of towels and linens is also included. If students would like to wash their clothes, our BELS leaders can accompany them to a launderette across the road from the hotel (at a fee).
When allocating rooms, we ensure that roommates are students of the same gender and a similar age to encourage friendships while on our programme. In addition to this, when possible, we also pair students of different nationalities in the same room to encourage the use of English throughout the day. If two friends are travelling together and wish to share a room, this is also possible.
On our teen camps, students are supervised by our BELS leaders 24/7, some of which also live in the same residence. Students are given a curfew for their safety, and night-checks are conducted by our live-in leaders, who are available to assist the students at any time. Apart from the constant contact with the leaders, students will also be given an emergency contact number.
All BELS students can make use of the hotel’s outdoor pools. BELS staff will be living at the hotel to provide our students with round-the-clock customer care support and supervision as they study English in Malta. Accommodation is also on full board.
